Videostudio9 service pack 2 won't install

I'm trying so hard to like videostudio, but I think I'm completely running out of patience. Every time I try to do something with it, nothing works! Now I downloaded service pack 2 for x9 but when it tried to install it, it says that it couldn't determine the exact version on VS that I have and it gives me only one option...to click Finish. That's it...not suggestions...no other options...nothing. Not even goodbye. So I can't get the service pack.
I thought maybe that might enable me to deal with my ongoing "File Format Mismatch" problem.
It's funny how I have all this time to keep posting problems with VS, but since I can't use it anyway because of the many bugs it has, that gives me more time to state the many problems that it has.
I think it's time to move on to another program and cut my losses. Thanks a lot, Corel for the waste of money and time.

Check the version No of VSX9, if it is 19.2.0.4, then SP2 is already installed and as you have only just purchased the product it should include SP2

You should allow the program to automatically install service packs and not manually install via the web pages.

If you see this message then most likely the Service Pack is already installed.

Corel do appear to have released Service Pack 3, but as your other post is causing some download and install issues, I think.
