Is Videostudio service pack 3 a fake for X9?

I have a feeling that the notice I'm getting to install service pack 3 for VS X9 might be a fake. I tried about 3 times to install it tonight, and the dialog just disappears and nothing happens. So beware if you also get this notice. I only get it when I start the program.

From memory, the same thing happened with SP2 when first released, Corel promised SP3 some time ago, the download problem is just a glitch that will be rectified shortly

I sure hope so. It seems to me that videostudio is just one big glitch. I can't even install service pack 2 because it says that it can't find the exact version of videostudio I have. I don't know why, but everything I try to do with VS is just a waste of time. Nothing works. I can't even make a video because of file format mismatches.

I have just checked X9 for updates and it does indeed show Service Pack 3 as being available, however it did show an error, but that could have been my PC internet connection?

I'll check it out again

The Service Pack is not available on the web site, but that is normal as they are normally first rolled out via the program auto updates

No Need to make it public as Corel have fixed the download problem, for me SP3 downloaded and installed via the program after choosing “Check for Updates”

Pat on the back for Corel, although still not available via their general web site, a little patience
