ASP Pro 2 odd file problem: No thumbnails, no open RAW

I have my RAW files sorted by year and had a 2016 file that contained about 50 Pentax RAW images and some asst. edited tif and xmp files.
PROBLEM is one day it only opened thumbnails of a few (like 3) in the main program. Weird.
Going to the folder in windows IE and trying to open one of the non-visible files also leas to........... nothing visible.
Tried rebuilding index ect. Nothing worked.
Created a 2016(b) folder and moved the RAW files to there and ASP built an index and everything was fine..
2016 folder was now empty of any RAW files. Just the bits were left. TIF's opened fine in Corel PP

So now that I got my RAW files back I decided to play a bit. Copied about 7 files back to 2016 folder . ASP then indexed and opened ONE file
????? WTH is up w/ that?
Thought maybe there was a conflict w/ Bibble Lite (parent to this program) that I still had running on this box. Deleted Bibble Lite (which BTW had no problems opening RAW files in the old 2016 folder)
Uninstalled and re-installed ASPII as well..
Well long story ending..
Still have multiple RAWS in the old 2016 folder that won't show in ASP II

Sooooooooooo any ideas?
