PSP X4 - File Name Not Valid on Save

Hi-

I just upgraded computers. Prior to upgrading, I had issues now and then where I had to change the file type in order to be able to safe.

IE- I would do "save as" .png, so example1.png

Pop up would say File Name Not Valid

Changing the file name did no good, but switching the file type did.

IE: "save as" example1.pspimage

It was annoying, but not something that happened all that often.

I just updated to Win10, and now, it seems to be happening 90% of the time.

Any suggestions?

Just a shot in thew dark:
Have you tried typing the name, including the extension (.png, .jpg etc.) when saving, after chosing the type in the drop down box, even though the extension may be in the name field?
