Hi all,
I'm just getting into Boris FX, and was wondering if someone could explain the save options in Advance mode and how to retrieve the saved options to modify them. I have looked at the help files but could not find an explanation there.
Also is it possible to copy the Text attributes saved to the project time line in VS to another video on the time line and modify the copied Boris text?
Many thanks

Re: Save options in Boris FX - VSx9?
Hi Robert,
thanks for reply, now I know how to save a video in Boris FX, quite a procedure.
And thanks Asik1, I did find the save options on the file menu, but perhaps did not explain myself correctly. What I was wondering is what the difference is between "Save Settings" and "Save project copy to Library"
I did work out that you can copy Attributes from one Boris FX modified clip to another on the time line, but when I open up the new clip in Boris FX, I cannot see the original TEXT I had put into the original Boris FX file. But when I add new TEXT and play the second clip in VS Both the original Text and the new TEXT play in the second clip. Is there anyway to show both lots of TEXT when in Boris FX? (if that makes sense!!)
Thanks

Save project copy to Library, just add "copy" to the name, so you can save something as a 2nd version .
I don't understand why your copied attributes did not had the text as well, here they do as it's color and fonts.
Or I misunderstood you. try to add a screenshot segment of your timeline.

Re: Save options in Boris FX - VSx9?
Hi asik1
OK, just worked what was puzzling me. If I add 3 Boris filters of TEXT to a clip, when I need to change individual Boris filters I have to highlight one of the Filters shown in the Attribute menu In VS and then select Customise. If I don't select an individual filter from the list Boris always defaults to the last Filter in the list in the Attribute menu.
Thanks aski1
