Video Studio Pro x2 changes to slow motion

Post by jaysto »

Following on from my previous posts, having completed a 33minute movie using Video Studio Prox 2 and windows 7. The movie rendered well and appeared good playing on the computer correctly from beginning to end so, I went ahead and burned the movie on to a DVD RW disc using windows DVD Maker.
All played well on my Sony DVD player for about 16mins when the sound suddenly changed to slow motion The movie then got out of sync.and remained the same to the end. I have tried different discs but the same thing happens on all of them.
Has any body got any suggestions as to what the problem might be.
Thank you
Jaysto.

Hi good morning Jack

Go back a step and burn a Disc Image, that creates an iso file on your hard drive , play that file on your pc to check quality. Does that suffer in the same way as the disc.?

And again I can only ask why you are using Windows DVD Maker instead of the burning module in X2...

Ken
I have made my own titles and that is what the film starts with now, how to by pass all ready made titles in the burner module in Pro X2 I do not know.
Trevor,
I have checked in x2 and cannot find any where that tells me how to make an iso file. This 85 year old gentleman is becoming confused, me thinks
he should find a programe that is a little complicated.
Regards to you both.
Jack

Hi Jack

Me thinks you may be right :?  , but the burner module may not display all details on the final page.
Look for the chevrons, the two downfacing arrows, they will expand the view to show the options. I think it may be this that is missing.
