Hi - I do a lot of audio syncing with video, classical music performances. Is there a way in X9 to vertically widen the audio tracks on the audio line and the audio within the video? It is hard to sync with such a thin view. Widening the view of the whole project horizontally helps but not enough. I manage to make it work but would be so nice to have a wider vertical view to more easily see audio wave lengths.
Is there a way to move tracks up or down so I can have the audio trick right underneath the video to more easily compare them for the syncing?
If these are both not available I could put them on wish list for X10?
Thanks so much,
Candy

Re: X9 way to widen wave length of audio and move tracks?
you can expand the tracks - BUT ..............
as the tracks take up more of your screen there is less of the rest of the screen available a;; three main components of the interface can be moved and expanded as you wish - even moved to a second computer if that provides more space
It may help if you start by reading from the bottom of page 33 of the X9 User manual (Customising the workspace - strangely it is page 43 of the PDF)
just remember if you move things about and get in a state just press F7 to get the default back
you cannot move tracks relative to each other - but you could do something like this - you need to decide what you want to see

Brian, thanks so much. I'll take a look at bottom of page 33/43 in the manual.

Hi Candy
Just to add, once you have rearranged the layout you can save the layout via settings – Layout Settings – Save to, giving 3 custom options
Then switch to any saved layout via Settings – Layout settings – Switch to.
We can also “switch to” via F6 Preferences – UI Layout.
However your new layout may hide the “menu – settings” so use the keyboard shortcut keys,
Alt+1 saves Custom 1
Ctrl+1 to switch to Custom 1
F7 sets default layout
Saving your layouts will help you to quickly select your new view.
