Help file offline

When internet connexion is not available, how to access the help (pdf or html) from inside PSP ?
I know I can download the pdf help file and read it's content outside PSP.
But what I want is to access the help when hitting F1, for example, AND without an internet connexion.
I'm using X8.2
Any idea ?

In both X7 and X8 when I hit F1 when offline (stopping all internet activity with my firewall) I still get the Help window popup in Internet Explorer, showing this path (except that Corel%20PaintShop%20Pro%20X8 says X7 at the end instead of X8) :

file:///C:/ProgramData/Corel/Corel%20PaintShop%20Pro%20X8/Languages/EN/Help/index.html#page/Corel_PaintShop_Pro%2Fintro_page.html

I would add that in my Programs X86 folder for under C:/ProgramData/Corel I show a folder for Corel Paintshop Pro X7, Corel Paintshop Pro X8, and also a separate folder for Corel Paintshop Pro X7 Local Help. I don't have a similar folder for X8. Within the Local Help folder for X7 is a setup.exe file which I activated and it appeared to install local help files. I, of course, didn't do that for X8 (not having a similar folder) but still get the help files specifically for X8 when not connected as stated above with the path I've shown above.

Perhaps you have to download them somewhere first and install? I don't know why I have that as a separate folder for X7 but not X8.

Thank you for testing.
I searched for the help files in the Corel folders and found it both for X7 and X8 but ONLY in the EN folders. I'm using the FRench version too but no help file is available in the french folder.
I tested offline both X7 and X8 (english versions) and the help (html) is displayed inside PSP.
It seems the french version doesn't display the help offline. Could be a bug...

Perhaps the same issue applies to other non-EN versions also??

Have you tried the Paintshop Pro update page? At the bottom there's a download for offline help with several languages.

This link should take you to PSP X8's files. At the top of the page there are tabs for more versions.

That must have been where I got the separate Local Help folder from for X7. Just don't seem to need it for X8 and perhaps I didn't actually need it for X7 (English versions).
