Nik Collection

I recently started using PSP X8 ultimate and added the Nik collection to the plugins.After looking at the forum after encountering a few problems it is now all working but not that well.I tried HDR Efex Pro 2 and it has been very hit and miss.It seems no problem loading the raw file and creating the hdr pic but when I try to save the chosen image psp occasionally stops working and closes down.Any advice would be much appreciated.

PSP X8 occassionally stops working ... isn't that normal. My PSP X8 gets tired and just quits if I process too many images in an evening (no rhyme nor reason, it just thinks I need a break after processing dozens of images). Recovers just fine when I restart and am good to go for another set of images. It is something I've come to learn to live with, been using Corel for a long time, and for me this has been too normal.

As for NIK - it works for me - and PSP X8 has yet to take a coffee break while processing a NIK maniputated file - but I have not used it extensively.

Mine has never stopped working on normal work but just doesn't seem to like hdr efex. I managed to process about 5 images intermittently then it just kept crashing. The only reason I persevered was that her efex gives far superior results than X8.I have just been on the Nik collection help site and they say that the whole collection is incompatible with PSP and never has been so thats the end of that then.Funny how it worked a few times and the images were brilliant but since then it just forces PSP to close down although it will open in edit and perform the HDR but will not save the image.
