Does anyone know where I can get support for beginning Boris Grafitti? On their website, they have a chat window, but when they want to stop helping, they just stop helping.
I'm trying to start from the beginning so I can understand the Gripps videos and others. It seems that every video on the subject is for intermediate users. The only one I saw for beginners is how to position the palettes.
I can't get Boris Red because it's expensive. I'd rather get Camtasia if I was going to spend that kind of money.

No matter how basic you think I need, it needs to be more basic than that. I'm not kidding. I know as much about BG as a mouse knows about blue whales. Every time I see a video or read an article about boris graffiti, it's intermediate or advanced. The only beginner video I've seen was one that tells you how to set up your palettes. I got that and did what he said and that's great. But all of the other ones act like everyone is already advanced.
I was watching a Gripps video today about extruding text and even though we're using the same exact version, his controls are different than mine. In his controls tab he has an extrusion tab and I don't. I finally found it in the styles panel (after about 15 minutes of looking around. But then when I got there, it doesn't have the same controls at all that he has. I think Boris is messing with people with this.
I'm worried about your suggestion about pinnicle because I dont' thing the UI would be the same exact thing and it would take forever to learn. Am I right?
Also, I would never buy a product from Boris FX because their customer support is terrible! to say the least.

Ok, Robert. I see what you mean about Pinnacle. I thought you meant it was a program like graffiti. I see that it uses graffiti the same way as Corel does. I found out why I wasn't getting the right amount of tabs in "Controls", was because I didn't have the right track selected. I wish instructors wouldn't skip important things like that.
