E-Mail with PSP X6

E-Mail with PSP X6

Iv'e just upgraded to windows 10 now I can't e mail an image from PSP X6 It just tells me there is no e-mail programme associated with the action you wish to perform Anybody help me with that please

You have to be using an e-mail client installed on your computer I think, like Outlook. Windows 10 mail app may not be recognized by PSP X6, and I doubt it is by X8 either. Hard for me to say as I'm not upgrading to either one.

As Rondo says, unless you have Outlook installed, it's not working.
I think it's a bad utility. The compression is terrible, so images are still huge.
Whoever thought that one up should be rethinking the whole thing!
I use the JPG Optimizer and send images that way :-)

That's not really how it works. Default programs are handled at a system level. You need to set a default mail client in the windows control panel.

although frankly it's a lazy function. i think most people would resize and optimise, save and attach. or these days just have their automated backup share a link.
