VideoStudio - audio not working in project
Hi I am investigating an issue where audio does not play in program since moving to Win8. I am using Corel VidStudio Pro X3 (I cannot upgrade to a newer version yet). Since putting the program onto Win8 the audio does not work correctly. I can play individual clips and sample audio FX fine in the program. The audio however stops when you play the whole project in the timeline. This makes it impossible to check sync sound until you render the project completely. I am not sure if it is codecs etc. Any help would be appreciated thanks.

VSX3 is a very old program and I would suspect that it is not compatible with Win 8. Have you tried installing in Windows Compatibility mode selecting Win 7
