TIA

The folder & file name is shown below the picture on the left side. If you mouse over the file name, you get the full path. I don't think there's a special setting to display this info. Can you show an example of what you'd prefer for a display?

Oops! There is a special setting to display the file name below: Click on View...Toggle Status Bar.

Many, many thanks! I read the PDF and help but it didn't leap out at me.

And yes, I'd really like to have the Filename positioned as shown here, bit more prominent :
ASP2 Better position Filename (Custom).JPG
squinting all the way down there is a bit, well, neah . . . .

One other trick: go into the Metadata tab on right, click on Manage. Look for Misc: FullFileName on the left and drag it to the Default Set list on the right.

When viewing your pictures in Preview, you can press the "E" key, & a little Metadata window will pop up -- it will now have your path/file info. So you can quickly get that info when you want it instead of having the little info on the bottom of the screen.

Also, are you missing the obvious thing? File...Preferences...Display...Show File Name on Thumbnails? I tend to work with the filmstrip on display, so have the file names showing prominently at all times. Maybe you keep the filmstrip hidden.

Oh! Duhhh! I just looked at your sample picture -- you do have the filmstrip up with file names showing.

Yeah, it's waaaay down there and almost apologetically teeny weeny! I'm looking to have the Filename somewhere Front and Centre. Yes? - Auditioning and Previewing many CR2 RAW files, maybe for HDR work and/or transferring to CORELPSPX8, I really do need to keep this crucial information visually available- not just partially viewable way down there. It does matter - and some!

In Corel PSPX8, and before, there's a nice TAB to view the Media Filename. Now might be a good time/idea to have COREL look at the two platforms having synchronicity of viewing Filenames across both platforms. It wouldn't take much?
