Hi Tony, we've fundamentally changed the way we address new cameras. AfterShot Pro 3 includes new modular camera profiles than can be updated dynamically. We've moved away from doing a big drop of multiple cameras periodically through the year and move into a new model where we can build a profile and update into the product as soon as its done. This allows us to be much more responsive and represents a much less cumbersome process--no patches required.

You can find the new camera profile manager under the new 'Get More' tab. If your camera isn't supported, simply hit the 'feedback' button under camera profiles and your camera will be added to our queue.

That said, i hope we support your camera already!

I vote "NO" to s**** bullshits in general. We've added a collection of new lens corrections, plus a number of built in profiles. We have a world of options here, so if you don't see what you need, please hit the 'feedback' button in app and we'll get cracking.

There are some improvements - but some of the old Bugs are still there!
Long requested features are still not implemented.
So the upgrade price is too high in my opinion.
For me it is a "sign of live" - I still would like to give ASP a chance

We had a ton of feedback from users about how essential Gradfilter is, so we knew we had to make a move to have it updated for ASP3. In the end, Corel acquired Gradfilter Pro and Lite from Roger and added this as a plugin. Some bugs were fixed, but it remains a plugin for the time being. Both Gradfilter Lite and Pro can be found under the "Get More" tab, discounted for a limited time as part of our launch promotions around AfterShot Pro 3. Right now Lite is $1.99 and Pro is $14.99.

If Corel bought the Graduated Filter to use in AfterShot Pro 3, why is it not included as part of the product? As Corel stated, this is essential for many users. This seems to be just a money grab from Corel. Doesn't Lightroom already provide this a standard filter?

Hi, I don't see my camera (Olympus E-M10 Mk II) being listed as one of the supported cameras. So there is no point for me to download the trial version, correct? I hope there will be support for my camera soon (been waiting since my brother bought me the camera). Missing the HDR functionality badly. Thanks.

Those Ex-Blue guys are insidious! (I'm not one.) We don't try to be secretive about matters like this, but usually we like to keep the key elements of the product under wraps so we can reveal in organized fashion. (There are benefits and drawbacks to this)[/quote]

Greg

Your content managers need to know about the ROBOTS tag. They can read about it here. This allows one to prepare a site for product launch and test it in place while at the same time concealing it from all but the worst behaved search engine indexers. And I imagine they'll have plenty of time to practice for the launch of ASP4  .

My first impressions of the product are positive, by the way. Others may lament the fact that it still works almost identically to the previous version, but I dislike change for change's sake almost as much as you dislike "s**** *!*!*".

Perfectly Clear

Does someone know if Perfectly Clear was updated in Aftershot 3?

I agree that this approach is the best way forward. It allows for new cameras to be supported and introduced with minimal chances of damage to the existing base RAW processor.
I advocated such an approach many years ago before Corel purchased Bibble. At that time the software was still Bibble 4 and this was not possible.
