Appearing text

Post by Ergamof »

Hi,

I use Corel VideoStudio Pro X5 and I have a problem :
I would like to make the text appearing like a teaser. For example, the text "come from the camera" and then go to it's normal place

If anyone know how to do it...

Hi Loïc

And welcome to the forums

There are many options to animating the text but I am not sure what you are trying to create. Can you explain in more detail.

From the Title library are there any samples that are similar to what you wish to achieve.

I have a 12 seconds video
I would like to make the text appear zoomed and then go normal (within 2 seconds) and then that it stay the same during 10 seconds.
I manage to do the zoom but it last all the 12 seconds. Another solution I found is to add two separate text: one with the effect (2 sec) and one without (10 sec)... But if I do this, a frame with no text appear between the two.

Sorry for my bad English

Hi

That is probably the best way to go.

Make sure there are no gaps when adding the second clip to the timeline

1 / Create first text at 3 sec
2 / double click clip on timeline to open options panel
3 / Attributes tab – animation – Apply
4 / Choose Zoom – click the two “TT” symbol—set zoom start 0.0 --Zoom end 1.0
5 / right click clip on timeline – Copy – then drop adjacent to first clip – drag left – should “snap To “ with no gaps.
6 / Set duration to 9 sec set Animation for this clip to Fade out
7 / change pause duration ( blue bar below preview screen)

Ok I set the above and also get a blip, a blank frame between the two clips, don't understand that.

I added a Cross Fade transition and set duration to 2 frames, seems to remove the blank frame?
