DVD Workshop trial version - interface Error ???

Post by michiel9 »

Hi guys,

I'm giving DVD WS a spin, looks good so far. Only one problem, don't know if it's visible in the full version:

The "save" button, top left corner, next to the options icon, is flashing. When it starts flashing, there's nothing I can do in the program. Only way to resolve this is to minimize and then maximize DVD WS. As soon as I let my mouse over the Save Icon, it starts flashing and the program freezes.

So... I can't save anything, that's not good.

Any idea what this could be ?

Just curious :) Otherwise, looks rocksolid...

Thanks !

Michael

A little bit more detail would help in getting more meaningful responses than this

that is strange

Where did you download your Trial version, and what is the version number in the "About" :?:

What are your system specs :?:

Are you running any other software while running DWS :?:

Well, I got it off the www.ulead.com website a few days ago.

I'm running WinXP pro, SP2 (so DX9C is installed). Apart from that there's a firewall and an Antivirus program running, nothing else.

It's strange, because it seems that the "focus" is taken from DVDWS to something else. That's why I have to minimize/maximize to get the functionality back. As in, to be able to press all the buttons.

But judging from your reactions, it seems like there's something strange going on with my Windows installation. This is apparently not a known issue or bug. I'll check things some more, thanks for the helpful input :)

Thanks,

Michael
