Video Studio X8 will not reinstall

Had a problem with X8.6.0.6 seeing my roxio capture so first I reinstalled Roxio EasyVHS to DVD. That still did not work so I uninstalled Video Studio X8 and tried to reinstall but it gives me a error and will not install. As soon as it is at the end of opening the setup file I get the error :The following error occurred on the file 'C:\ProgramFiles\Corel\CorelVidoeStudioProX8SetupFiles\Setup\Runtime\TSMPack\ISSe77ce.rra'.: So what is going on and why can"t I get video studio to reinstall? Thanks.

Why would you try and use VS X8 to run the Roxio device? Why not use the program that came with the device? After all VHS2DVD was designed to run the capture device not VS X8

If you have problems running VHS2DVD you should be posting in the Roxio forums.

Because I am just trying to save a step by using the roxio capture device to capture directly to video studio. It has been working perfectly and then just quit working. I have finally got it to reinstall but still does not see the roxio capture device. When I go to the capture tab and try to capture I get the error: Failed to initialize the video capture plugin. Another program may be using it or the file has been moved. Open Driver Failed Cannot create the video capture filter. [15200:43:10] [15023:4:2]: I have no idea what is going on as it has been working till now. I rebooted so there is not other program that is using it and I have moved nothing.
