Is there any major changes in the 2 versions? I have 3 versions on mine now. I guess I should uninstall x6 & X7.
I certainly wish the libraries and files would go automatically into the new versions.
thanks Bruce

Re: VSX8 Vs VSX9
Thanks, looked at the comparison and didn't see much to upgrade this time. Use to be nice when the upgrade would actually upgrade the version.

The major new tool is Multi camera, nothing else.brucefl wrote:Is there any major changes in the 2 versions? I have 3 versions on mine now. I guess I should uninstall x6 & X7.

Re: VSX8 Vs VSX9
As posted above, the real difference is multicam. Unless you do a LOT of multi camera shooting (and some of us DO), then you can basically bypass this one. But also, Normalize audio across the entire track is a time saver too. Worth the cost of upgrading? You have to determine.
Same with MXF file support. If you have a camera that outputs to this format, yeah.... and IF you have the hardware to support H.265 (or use the now discontinued Samsung NX1/500), then yes again.
I personally don't upgrade for the sake of it. IF there are compelling features I need (multicam) to make my life easier, then yes, I upgrade.
Oh, and "official" Win10 support too...
