Glyphs access
I hope this is a seriously easy question. I can't find how to access font glyphs within PSP 8x. I either have to type in the alt+ code or use the character map. Is there a way within PSP, like a drop-down box, that is attached to the font option to use glyphs? I've read the tutorials and can't find it. Any help is greatly appreciated!

The term "glyphs" is used to mean various things depending on context. I assume you are referring to diacritical marks over letters like accents, etc., and perhaps special symbols like omega, the copyright symbol, etc. No, there is no simple way to do that in PSP, although there may be font sets that include those types of characters.

If you are indeed talking about accent marks, then I find the quickest way of doing it in PSP (and indeed other programs) is to use the US International Keyboard layout. You can load it from Windows (Control Panel > Languages > Add Language). Then in your little keyboard icon in the task bar at the bottom right of your Windows 10 screen (which will say something like ENG), you can then select the ENG INTL keyboard when you are wanting to add accent marks to your fonts in PSP. Just remember when you finish using it to revert to your standard keyboard layout as the INTL layout has a few quirks.
You will need to do a bit of homework to get used to how this layout works with accent marks, but essentially if you want an acute accent over a letter (e.g. é) you just hit the ' key then the vowel you want it over and presto! it appears... For a circumflex, use Shift plus the circumflex over the 6 key then the vowel: ê. For a grave hit the grave key (to the left of the 1 key) then the vowel: è. And for the tilde, Shift plus the tilde key (same key as the grave key) plus the letter: ñ. For an umlaut Shift plus the " key then the vowel: ä. For a cedilla press the ' key then the letter: ç.
If you want less common accent marks (such as the East European diacriticals or Polynesian macrons), I'm afraid you will have to use the more tedious methods you are already aware of and use.

Re: Glyphs access
Thank you both for your help. It's as I feared, though I don't understand why Corel hasn't accommodated this need yet. It has so many great tools already in place.
Again, thank you!
