VideoStudio Pro Has Stopped Working....

When I tried to start VideoStudio Pro X7 on my PC, I got an error message that read:

"VideoStudio Pro has stopped working."

A Problem detail report says: "Fault module: Name is KERNELBASE.dll"

How do I get it to START working again?

I'm running under Windows 7 Home Version.

Have you been using Videostudio since the middle of February - or was your last use before that

I believe I accessed--but didn't use--the program in March without any trouble.

But I first got the error message just yesterday.

OK - I was just checking as everyone on Windows 7 had a problem of Videostudio not starting after a Win 7 update in mid Feb

It does not sound as though that is the same problem as you have - but if you have not yet installed the latest hotfix it might be worth installing it just to eliminate the win 7 update as causing the problem

That hotfix says it works with VideoStudio X7 - Does it also work with the X7 PRO version?

The Hot Fix works with both versions of VSX7, Pro & Ultimate

I installed and ran the HotFix--that did the trick! VS Pro X7 functioning OK.

(I wonder what caused the program to malfunction in the first place....)
