Is there any forum section for Boris Graffiti?
I was wondering because I just started using Boris Graffiti and I think it's something that will be useful to me. However, when I click "text", there are no fonts there. Does anyone know where I can get some answers for this or does anyone know the answer.
Thanks, Bob
Thanks, Bob

To access Graffiti click on FX filters then drag the Boris Graffiti filter onto your video clip, then highlight and select Options, this will open the attributes panel, then select Customize Filter, now you will have access to the full range of text

In Documents of the link in signature below, there's a file called « boris.xlsx, xls or pdf » with the names of 102 videos I've found on the Web. Some videos are made for Avid, Pinnacle, Boris Red. Nevertheless, just about all of them use the same principles/rules than Boris Graffiti with VideoStudio or, at least, are pretty close. You should be able to copy the name, go to the Web, paste the name and see them on the Web.

The only place I have access to BG is on the desktop. I have an icon there where I can access it. But there is no filter in FX that is Boris Graffiti....or anywhere else in VSX6.
I don't know if it's the way I installed it or not, but maybe I can put the disk in and load it into VS.

Re: Is there any forum section for Boris Graffiti?
Well I got it to load and install into VS by using Disk 2 with the special effects. Now I have it as a stand-alone and installed in VS. I don't know if i need the stand-alone still installed on my computer or not but I don't want to mess anything up either.
Now I have to figure out BG. That looks like a task!!!
Thanks for your help, you guys!

Re: Is there any forum section for Boris Graffiti?
I would suggest you to keep it as a stand-alone. It will allow you to do what you want, save your project as a « grf » file, come back to it either in the stand-alone or with VideoStudio when you apply the Boris Graffiti FX on a video/picture/colour, make a choice from the Library.
If you look at Gripps videos, you should learn a lot easily and quickly. Once you'll understand how Keyframes work, you should be able to do lots of nice things.

Re: Is there any forum section for Boris Graffiti?
Thank you. I'm starting to find out that keyframes are a big deal in BG. Last night, I made a cube with the help of a video I saw on how to make one. It wasn't a Gripps video, but it was good. The only thing is, he didn't say how to save the project. It's not self explanatory like most other programs are. Afterwards, after I lost the project for not knowing how to save it, I learned that you have to click apply on the bottom right. Anyway, live and learn. I think Boris would sell a lot more if they made a good manual and some instructional videos.

In Boris Graffiti, go to « Help / Boris Graffiti User Guide ». You should get : C:\Program Files (x86)\Boris FX, Inc\Boris Graffiti 6\Documentation\wwhelp\wwhimpl\js\html\wwhelp.htm.rkstudio wrote:I think Boris would sell a lot more if they made a good manual and some instructional videos.
In the link below(onedrive), go to « Documents / Graffiti LTD User Guide ». It's an old version, but it could help you.
This site could also help you : https://www.borisfx.com/products/graffiti/
