Hanging when SaveAs diabox looses focus...

I do have this problem, with X6 and X7, even with X8
When I'm saving or making a Save Copy As, then' get the traditional Save-diabox which is requesting me a File Name.

At that moment I just can't afford to loose focus on this diabox, for example to check a date or other info in File Explorer or Internet Explorer,

When loosing focus on that moment, Paint Shop Pro hangs, no other way to kill the process and start all over again.

I only use F12 (Save As) to save and don't experience any problems.

SMD, unfortunately I don't understand your difficulty. With the Save dialog or its variants open you lose nothing in closing it, checking what it is you wish to check and then repeating the process. Nothing will have changed in repeating the save and having to reopen the dialog box, other than perhaps having to navigate again to the directory where you want to save the file.

I don't see your problem on my system.
I "save as", the dialog box opens
I let PSP open and I click on Windows Explorer.
I navigate in the folders and see what I need to see.
I switch back to PSP and the "save as" dialog box is still open and I continue the "save as" process...
