Speeding up project playback in VideoStudio Pro X7

How do I speed up playback of a project in the Edit mode? I'm sure that it must be extremely simple but, for the life of me, I can't find out how to do it.

I've got a 50 minute project and I simply want to skim through it to check that all the transitions are working properly and that there's no obvious major problems. I'd be satisfied with a x4 increase in speed.

Either manually slide the cursor along the timeline using the mouse cursor on the inverted white triangle along the top edge of the timeline - or slide the white inverted triangle along the white line immediately under the preview window using the mouse

this process is usually referred to as "scrubbing the timeline"

Thanks for the reply. Perhaps it's just me, but I've always found sliding these two cursors pretty clumsy and erratic, at least it seems this way with my setup. I was hoping that there was a way of smoothly increasing the speed when the Play key was pressed. Can I take it that there is actually no way of doing this?

You can hold shift and press "next" it will jump to any "meaningful point"
** It was suggested that page up/down will jump timeline screens
