Using Moviefactory 3 SE that came with my hardware I can create a DVD from recorded video that plays back on my computer but will not play back on my JVC DVD player.
I have to use Nero DVD software to create a DVD that will play back on my DVD Player.
The only audio setting I can find in MovieFactory is "normalize audio".
What am I doing wrong?
Audio on computer playback but not on DVD player

JVC DVD Player Audio Output not set to Digital
The problem was with my JVC DVD player. On the DVD setup menu, the audio output has three selection choices. Changing the setting to Dolby Digital/PCM fixed the problem with the sound not playing.
However, still kinda strange how DVDs burned with Nero worked just fine and DVDs burned with MovieMaker had no sound until I changed the setting.
I also found a setting in MovieFactory to set the audio to MPEG or LPCM. Not sure what this is for.
