New camera support
New camera support
Hello,
How is it possible to speed up/help with support for new camera models? I tried to upload sample raw files in the past, but it didn't helped (it took corel more than year to add new model).
I'm expecting support for Canon EOS 1D X mark II, 80D, G5X, G7X mark II, G9X

Hi bear_sk. Requests received and logged. 80D has leapt up our priority list in last 48 hours. Thanks for the sample files--they're a big help!
Re: New camera support
Canon G5X is listed as supported by ASP3, but ASP3 does not see CR2 files from Canon PowerShot G5 X, here is sample RAW file:

Re: New camera support
Is there also a problem with EOS M2 cr2 files? ASP3 opens my M files without issue, however will not recognise the M2 files. I though ASP2 supported all 3 M models (M, M2, M3) and assumed ASP3 would too.

Re: New camera support
I am very disappointed that the new Aftershot Pro 3 does not support the latest consumer camera the CANON EOS 80D. I guess it is back to Adobe for RAW file editing.
CAN SOMEONE PLEASE SPEED UP THE PROCESS OF GETTING POWERSHOT 3 TO WORK WITH CANON 80 D RAW FILES?

Re: New camera support
suespahn, what if the person responsible for the 80D support is colorblind and couldn't read your post?
or even worse it is a noise-sensitive person and doesn't respond well to shouting?

Bibble since 2004. Aftershot until 2020. From then on darktable.
Re: New camera support
Thanks for adding 80D and G5X support. I modified G5X profile for G7X mark II and it works, but does not set chromatic aberration from lens-profile.xml. I set there:
<ChromaticAberration focal="8.8" r_c="0.120" b_y="0.050"/>
<ChromaticAberration focal="36.8" r_c="-0.030" b_y="-0.050"/>
But values are not pre-set.

Re: New camera support
It may be in but ASP 3 still need to figure out how to read them. Mine show with a heavy magenta color cast. The histogram shows the green channel shifted to the far left in a flash image of the Kodak color chart.bear_sk wrote:Thanks for adding 80D ....
