Just as a way to measure your success, try your test raw files in Photo Ninja. It has the best highlight recovery, including color recovery, that I have ever seen. If you want me to, I can convert any files you want to try.

When I first saw this I laughed and dismissed it as an April Fools joke. It actually has all the usual characteristics for a classical April Fools joke; Release date April 01, something unbelievable (they are doing Highlight Recovery TestingAlex Brazeau wrote:Hello AfterShot community! Ok, by revisiting this post, I now have second thoughts. Did they manage to fool many, or is this Highlight Recovery testing for real?
If it's for real, do the Corel Photo Team need more samples now..?

Hey Arnfinn, definitely not an April Fools joke. And of course, please do send a few photo samples and I can pass them along to the dev team for testing! You can post links to any photos you'd like to share with us here or PM them to me if you'd prefer.Arnfinn wrote:is this Highlight Recovery testing for real? Far too little, far too late.
No wonder Arnfinn thinks that this is a joke.
It's also an insult to those of us who have been trying for years and years to get Corel to take notice of AfterShot Pro's execrable highlight recovery performance (usually being shouted down by the fanbois and ASP's pitbull moderators for our troubles), and have moved onto better - much better - things.
