dvd xpress usb driver

i cannot get the usb driver for dvd xpress to appear in the capture list of any version of video studio, any help would be welcome :(

sorry, don't know your device, what are you trying to capture? Stills or video?
More detail please.

Did your unit come with CapWiz :?:

If so, then use that to make your captures, and then just import the captured videos into VideoStudio.

There's also a new version of CapWiz (recently released). You can download it from ADS Tech's support pages.

Also, if VideoStudio was bundled with your DVD Xpress, then that version should be able to capture fine. But I prefer to use the CapWiz program because it has a simple interface, and is made specifically to capture from the ADS Tech units...

thanks for your suggestions, vs7 came with dvdxpress but only captures video in black & white using the s video option, color is ok if using composite input, input is set to svhs via dvd xpress.. I think I will take the whole lot back to pc world and get a refund.. :?

Hi stan,

When you try S-Video, disconnect the RCA cable. Also, make sure you have the proper format selected -- PAL/NTSC etc...
