Hey guys,
I have Corel PaintShop Photo Pro x3. I just got a large amount of raw photos from a photographer who did our bands photoshoot. He gave me all the photos in .PSD files. Originally I told him this would be fine (I checked online at the photo session if Corel can read .PSD files and the Internet said yes) however I can't open them in my version of Corel. I keep getting the error message, "The color model of this PSD file is not supported."
Luckily, my ArcSoft photo viewer can view the pictures but I can't resave them as a new file or manipulate them in any way. I'd love to get these pics into Corel because I need to make posters
Any ideas on how to get these pictures to open with Corel?

Re: How to open PSD files
Get a trial of Photoshop.
I realize that doesn't really help, but the trial is free and will be able to do the conversion. You might be able to find other converters but might as well go to the source. You can open them in Photoshop and save as either TIFF or JPG.

I'll probably go this direction. XD
Does the trial have a time limit on it? Like 30 day period or something? I know there are other conversion methods out there but I don't have any software that can read PSD files except the ones I mentioned above.
Thanks for the tip
