VS Pro X5 will not open or start

Hello, this is my first post to the forum. I have not used my video camera for a while, today I tried to open video studio pro x5 and nothing happened. After I clicked in the program icon, all I got was the spinning wheel of death. Has anyone run into this and is there a fix? Thank you.
