PSP X5 Malfunction

Post by Fulcanelli »

I have been a PSP user since v.7 and had a problem today that has never before occurred.

Earlier today I renamed some photos that I had just uploaded to my computer. Later, I was working on some photos and done some touch up, resizing, and then I was adding a border and an error msg popped up and unfortunately I didn't write it down. It was something about my action not fitting in the parameters or something. Then when I tried to again add a border, the photo cropped itself. I know that sound strange, but that is what happened. I tried shutting down the program and restarting it.

What I need to know is should I reinstall the program or is there a process where I can fix corrupted files. I'd try running it again (doing the same sequence) but now it crops the pictures every time.

That was the first thing I tried. It does appear that the program has reassigned the border function to something else.

Does PSPX5 have a 'fix' feature or do I need to uninstall/reinstall?
