Free personal Templates and Boris files

Has anybody noticed (or it may be just my computer) that when Graffiti is opened in VSX9, it is version 7.0.0.477 yet the Keyframe library it opens is Graffiti 6. Installing into the Keyframe 7 library produces no results at all

On my box, Boris v7.0.0.477 in X9 opens the Keyframe library default folder of 'C:\Program Files\Boris FX, Inc\Keyframe Libraries 7\'. There are a number of sub-folders available from there including animated, Charts, Filters and static. All folders contain '.grf' files.

You can change the Keyframe library default folder in Boris using the Library Browser.

Sometimes things are so simple that you cannot see the wood through the trees, for whatever reason, keyframe library 6 displayed, as soon as I selected 'Default" the keyframe library 7 displayed

All this has made me realise I know nothing about masks, splines and whatnot!

Are there some basic videos around to help me get to gripps with it all?

I've just typed in this on YouTube « corel videostudio mask » and I got lots of videos. If you type Boris Graffiti, you'll get similar results.

Hi,

I downloaded several of these free templates, an to be very candid I have never used them. However, almost 2 months later, now when I start up VS X9 Ultimate I get getting Boris Graffiti license expired. I have never used even 1 filter...

I thought the templates/filters were free, or at least they would work for free with a fully licensed copy of VS X9 ... Did I load them wrong into VS?

The templates are indeed free and it is not them causing your problem - but Boris itself - is your version of X9 fully updated with service pack 2

check that your version number is showing as 19.2.0.4

Also, does your version of Graffiti show as version 7.0 in the X9 FX window?

Did it install as part of the overall X9 installation, or did it not first appear when X9 was installed, and you had to install it manually?

It is Boris 7 and I got it from the X9 Ultimate install and I also downloaded additional Boris templates that I found at the beginning of this thread (1st message).
