Co ordinate entry and exit of multiple jpegs
Have no problem making 1 of 3 jpegs enter from the left and exiting to the right, but how do I make all 3 do that together ?

Re: Co ordinate entry and exit of multiple jpegs
Three different overlay tracks with a photo in each, sized to sit one above the other (I assume you mean this) then animated with exactly the same settings in each overlay track...?

Re: Co ordinate entry and exit of multiple jpegs
To clarify, I want each image to show next to each other and all enter and exit together from left to right with all 3 images visable all the time.

How can you have the 3 images next to each other, all enter at the same time while having all 3 images visible all the time?

Re: Co ordinate entry and exit of multiple jpegs
played around a bit Ken and although it is possible to do with three separate image in three overlay tracks I did find it quite convoluted to do with arranging for all three to enter and leave following each other
so I tried putting all three in one image and just treating it as one - worked well for me
I do not use Paintshop but I would hope you could do this in it
Start a new blank image which is the height of your .jpegs but three times as wide - then import the three jpegs onto three different layers and align them all on the blank canvas next to each other - then export that as one single jpeg which you can put into Videostudio and use custom motion to get that across the screen.
lateral thinking canuck - all images visible at the same time - - except when their not

He seems to want all 3 images visible (horixontally) all the time. How can you do this if the 3 images are entering from the left?

That's why I was initially thinking he meant one above the other...

Hi Kenneth
Is this the type of effect you are after VSP attached
even so I think Brians thoughts of creating a composite image is probably the best way to go.
We can use VS to do that by taking a snapshot,
make sure project properties are set to 1920 x 1080
Add the three images to 3 separate overlay tracks, arrange positions.
take a snapshot (Project Playback) will make image 1920 x 1080
Add that to timeline, just a matter of quality?

Re: Co ordinate entry and exit of multiple jpegs
I was thinking about using Trevor’s solution after replying to Brian.Tried to open the X9 clip that Trevor sent but unforntunately it is freezing my X7 after downloading and unzipping it.They will be images from an iphone so I don’t suppose the quality issue will arise as they will be small on the TV screen when being shown via a DVD any way.I wanted 3 images moving on the screen together so the “3 in 1” method would seem the best way to go.
Cannuk, I know what you are questioning, it may be my initial description of what I want.I realise that all the 3 images will not be showing ALL the time as they will be entering from the left as you say.If from left to right is shown individually one will be disappearing as the following one enters,if all 3 are in one image, when they ARE on show they will be all viewed together.Hope this is understandable!
