Text Glow Change?
Hi, how can I change the text's glow colour in Video Studio X8 from the current yellow/orange to white??
I'm talking about the Animated Titles, here's a screen capture:

Re: Text Glow Change?
From the image you have posted it looks as though you have already changed it to white
with the text selected click on the little white square to get more colours

Re: Text Glow Change?
That's what I thought Brian, but when played back in Project Mode it reverts back to the original colour, this only seems to apply to animated titles
Edit,
If you open the "Select a title preset box" then select a White preset, this does seem to work in some cases, but not all, there are a few that still revert back to the original colour

Re: Text Glow Change?
RobertOz is correct. But the Text in the far left window stays white, it just plays as yellow.
Not having used Video Studio very much I thought there must be some parameter I'd not found, to enable you to change this, from what you are saying RobertOz, it doesn't sound hopeful.
So it's not possible to change this then?

Every color in a title can be change, if you give us the correct preset you started with, we can check what settings you have missed.

Re: Text Glow Change?
asik1, they don't have names, it just says "LORUM IPSUM|DOLOR SIT AMET" - under some of them and just LORUM IPSUM under others. These are placeholders, not actual preset names. However, here is the location of the preset, you click on "T" which is for "Title" and it's 5th from the end, here's a pic explaining the location:
I have also somehow managed to save it as a favourite preset, as I did the preset before I tried changing the text to white. I've marked what the original preset looked like (my text however, which just says "Crackle") and my new attempt at changing all that's yellow into white, which only partially worked, next to it in "My Favourites", where the text now says "Black Crackle Test!".

Re: Text Glow Change?
Now it's simpler, you missed the border settings
And don't forget that this preset is a two liner.

Re: Text Glow Change?
Hi
There has also been FX filters applied to the text
Select the clip on the timeline, single click.
Choose the Attributes tab to access the FX filters that have been applied.
The Emboss filter is set to orange.

You only seem to have a few "T" presets where I see 34 (Standard Content installed)

Yes, there are lots more "T" presets in mine too, I've just scrolled down to show the one I am using at the bottom of the list.
When I, hang on... Yup, got it. Now is it possible to increase the glow? It's a bit damp and faded looking.
