HI
I purchased PSP X8 last fall and Part of the freebie package was the KPT filters. I had to get a new hard drive so am reinstalling all my software. I installed PSP X8 no problem but when I try to install the KPT filters this time it tells me I can't install them until I install PSPS X8 which I have already done. It's installed and working??? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

A somewhat confusing post. Do you mean it's asking you to install X7? If so, you need to install X7 to install KPT. I don't believe we got KPT with X8.

What is so confusing for you? I never mentioned PSP X7. I don't know what you got with your X7 or X8 but I got the KPT filters with my X8 and had them installed previously and they were working.
Anything else I could say would be a repeat of the first post. I re-read it but I don't see anything confusing. Maybe try reading it again S-L-O-W-L-Y

On my setup, the KPT filters only appear in the 32 bit version. Hope you are not looking in the 64 bit version.

I only use the 32 bit version. The 64 Bit doesn't work very well for me.

Likewise, I see them in my 32 bit version of PSP X8 but they are all grayed out. Do I need to activate them somewhere?

Martin -- do you have an image on the screen? My filters are only greyed out when the workspace is empty.

Ah, I was trying them on a raw CR2 file. When I opened a JPG instead, the filters all became active. No w to play with them to see what can be achieved.

This is probably why you are having problems. Check your system and software and what you are trying to use.
