Zoom Tool Reset after invoking Smart Photo Fix PSP X8
Has anyone encountered this odd, but time-wasting issue when editing?: Load image, use Zoom then select, cut/paste portions, select "Smart Photo Fix": correct image, then save and exit and return to find the Zoom tool has been reset to the Pan tool. It doesn't seem like a big thing but it doesn't behave this way in X6 and when you are processing 250+ images, it can be annoying, since Zoom is always the tool I use next.

I have set up a customized toolbar that I call Most Used. On it I have Levels, Brightness/Contrast, Red/Green/Blue, Hue/Saturation/Lightness ,Unsharp Mask , Selections None. I tested and you could also put the Zoom tool on there as well. I have this small toolbar placed undocked about the centre top of my work space and those operations are always available quickly without having to click menu and choose or go to the toolbar and select one of the choices below the current one.
That way the Zoom button would always be available.

Thanks, that's a smart idea. Since there are a relatively few tools I use regularly, it will speed up up my work if I not only get my zoom to stay but don't have to have all the other bumbf I don't need clogging my workspace. Kudods on your quick and useful response. John
