videoStudio x9 crashing with window 10 64b

Post by amcleod »

There is a known fault that repeatedly crashed the program before you can do anything useful with it:
Corel tech says: ""I noticed that the faulting module is igdumdim64.dll, which is a known issue and no available fix yet. Our developers are already aware of this issue and they're currently investigating on it. As of the moment we shall wait for a patch for it and hope it would be released soon.""
I would mind less if the same issue occurred with my 25 month old version of X6 and was advised to upgrade to X9... After a week of loading X9 repeatedly under Corel advice, to be told about this known issue is frustrating. I'm without any video editing program after 10 years with Corel... what's the best thing to do now?

Hi

Do a search of the forum for igdumdim64.dll
There is at least one post regarding this file dated 2014, and Corel have not fixed this yet?
