Hi,
I have scanned few rolls of 8mm films (about 40 years old) and now I'd like to improve their quality a bit - I have Video Studio X7 Ultimate. So far I haven't found proper filter to remove/reduce random spots and scratches. Do you have any suggestion? Thank you for help.

Hi, random spots and scratches are part of the 8mm appeal. The best clean up must be done by rotoscoping one frame at a time with an image editor. VS do have Old Film filter but not Milf Dlo filter for cleaning.

Haven't tried anything that works for sure. I wonder if the filter that removes flashes might work?
