Upgrading videostudio 8 to 8.5

I've just installed Videostudio 8 Ultimate. I have downloaded and installed the service pack 3. If I want to upgrade to 8.5 do I have to install the 3 updates or is it included in service pack 3? Also, is it something that could bug my first install ? Thanks.

Adding Service pack 3 will have upgraded you to X8.5 - does your version number now show 18.5.0.#

You should also install the hotfix which you will find here - - http://www.videostudiopro.com/en/suppor ... sion-tab=1


Your version number should then show as - - 18.6.0.6

My Videostudio shows 18.6.0.6 and I didn't install the hotfix. Maybe they put it inside the service pack 3. I did install that hotfix anyway just in case... before allowing my Windows to update
