I thought people should be made aware of this major limitation if they are considering using PSP on a Surface Pro or Surface Book.
I've been having problems getting PSP X8 (and previous versions) to run on my Surface Pro 3. There appears to be some glitch where any part of the program that deals with transparency (layers, tools, etc) causes the program to lock up and crash. When myself and others have contacted Corel support about this, they have informed us that they are aware PSP doesn't run well on MS Surface computers but it seems they have no intention of fixing it. They told me that the program runs "but we cannot assure smooth/optimum performance." Yeah, it may "run" but if it instantly crashes when you use any of a number of basic tools, that makes it pretty much useless in my opinion.
