When I export Tiffs from Capture one for work in paint shop pro, the saved version loses all its vibrancy. Im exporting in AbodeRGB and the working colour space within paint shop pro is the same but it seems as though its converting it.
Any ideas whats going on?

When you display the EXIF values, do you see the chromatic setting ?
I observed that saving a file in PSP with ICC profile UNCHECKED, removes ALL infos (should not). This is another problem but could be related to the color management inside PSP.
Various messages on this WebBoard speak about colorimetric problems with PSP.

You may verify if the AdobeRGB or sRGB is written inside the file so other programs may apply the correct settings.
In PSP Shift+I displays the image informations:

OK. Now check if Color Management is checked (ON) in PSP. If checked, uncheck (OFF). See if colors displayed are better.Diggedy wrote:When I export Tiffs from Capture one for work in paint shop pro, the saved version loses all its vibrancy. I don't know what you mean by "vibrancy". It is saturation or color cast or something else ... ?

Re: Working with Capture one 8
it looks like the colours are dull, some of the skin colours have gone pasty. Its almost like its gone back to the original RAW settings but has kept all the sharpening and exposure adjustments, just the contrast and saturation seems to have gone back to default

You need to compare if image colors change if you load the same TIFF inside PSP with Color Management checked and with unchecked.Diggedy wrote:it looks like the colours are dull, some of the skin colours have gone pasty.
