The version number in the crash report (18.0.0.181) seems to indicate that you have not upgraded (free) to X8.5. The latter's version, fully patched, should be 18.6.0.6... Go to Corel.com and click on the Support button to find the various Service Packs and Hotfixes that were brought out for X8.

for some reason corel.com do not list all the patches and hotfixes - try here

18.0.0.181 is used by the original program before any patches are applied.
Please view this post referring to the Windows Update problem and install the patch for X8
