Hi all,
I am working on a specific project where the end result will be projected during a theatrical show.
My projector's native resolution is 1280 x 1024, so I am trying to make a custom project to exactly that size.
Matching resolution is important because I am projecting multiple images/video files in various sectors on the screens/set. I've already made a 1280 x 1024 grid template, so that I can map specific elements in various parts of the image.
I've tried messing with project properties, but custom frame size is ALWAYS greyed out no matter what I select, or even if I am trying to create a new template or edit one I've already created. Please tell me what I'm doing wrong??
If my project is a different frame size, the projector may still be able to project it, but it will take many many many hours of experimenting to try to line up where all the images/video clips/elements end up on the screen and set.
PLEASE HELP!
(thanks in advance)

Edit:
Oh nevermind! I figured it out!
Went to project properties > DV/AVI > selected: avi > uncompressed, and that ungreyed the custom frame box
YAY!
Project properties > custom frame size

Re: Project properties > custom frame size
Hi
DV/Avi –Microsoft Video 1 compression should also give User Defined frame size
This will use 13 Gb per hour compared to uncompressed at 64 Gb.

Re: Project properties > custom frame size
Even though I figured it out myself (see edit), still, both of your replies gave me added and useful info.
So Thanks!
So Thanks!
