Hi, I just purchased VS pro x8 ultimate and am downloading it as I type this...
I was a user of VS pro x6 ultimate, which I just purchased a little over 2 years ago, and am a little mad that it's no longer supported (in terms of windows update hotfix).
Anyway, after I download and install X8, what order should I apply patches/upgrades/hotfixes??
The pinned thread at the top says do the hotfix immediately after initial installation, but then what about the various other patches and upgrades?
My common sense would tell me to install them all, in order of oldest to newest. Is that what I should do?
Any help would be appreciated - I'm up against a deadline and don't really have time to be messing around trying to get this right.
Thanks in advance for any advice or help you can offer!

Re: VS X8 patches/upgrades/hotfixes
Because I was using X6, which worked a month ago, and was not expecting to have to purchase this.
X8 ultimate was half the price of X9
X9 has higher recommended specs than X8, and the new features are not anything I need. I'm working on a 3 year old computer with Win 7 still, and it's a work computer unlikely to be upgraded anytime soon.
I've also read several reviews of people who loved X8 and regretted upgrading to X9.
In my PERSONAL experience with Corel products (VS & PSP mostly), new versions tend to have issues/problems. I usually go with the previous stable version, and price and stability > new features in my opinion.

For what it's worth (to other people with the same question)
I just installed the product, then all updates and patches and hotfixes in order of oldest to newest.
Not sure if it was necessary to do that, but it seems to be working.
