Hi everyone,
Just wondering if anyone else has experienced random crashes in VideoStudio Pro X8 since the last Windows 10 update. Mine is crashing with the typical "encountered a problem and needs to close" message during playback and editing pretty frequently, every 5-15 minutes or so. I've tried multiple projects with different photo, video, and audio formats, nothing out of the ordinary to what I normally use. The crashes happen consistently regardless of what the content of the project is. I definitely have all the currently available updates/patches installed.
I had a similar issue after a previous W10 update, but it seemed to just sort of resolve itself within a day or so. It's been happening for at least a week this time. Any suggestions?

My Win 10 was updated last night, but X8 continues to operate normally. I have opened several existing projects and played around with them. I also created a new one and have done some editing with that too. But X8 continues to be as stable as it was before the latest update. There seem to be Win 10 updates every week or so, but none so far have affected my X8 or now X9.

I am also having that problem. My computer updated last night and now X8 won't stay open more than a few minutes. It's not dependent on any action within VideoStudio as I've been doing different things each time it crashes. I'm thinking I might bail on VS rather than upgrade to 9 given the series instability as a whole (been using since 6) but would like to finish the couple projects I'm already working on. Looking forward to a solution if anyone has it.

Just to confirm that I am using VS Ultimate X8 ,with Windows 10 (difference being 32bit)
I today after Win 10 updates was able to create a project with photos; videos(mts) transitions; titles and did not encounter any crashes
Created video files (AVCHD) no problems ;no crashes.
For the sake of it I also created project using X6 also no problems /crashes.
