Its been a while since I used Cool 3D, so a little rusty
What do you want to do with the image?
You can import an Image or Video as a background via the attributes panel and choosing background mode.
If you wish to create a 3d effect, maybe wrapping the image around an object can be done.
I think creating a texture from your image is the way to go.
