OK, I understand your anxiety....it was like that for us when we were waiting for the first build

I will say, however, that you sholuld expect an "MSPro 8 III" post soon. More tidbits on the way....

Here is the file. It contains the modification that was recommended. I also tried to add an additional new user account. For good measure, I included the Event viewer application entry. This is all I could dig up. Is there any information on registry entries that may get left behind an uninstall that could be causing this? Getting frustrated

I have had the same problem with SP3 and have disabled the dx plugins in the ini file as suggested here and it has fixed it. This was suggested by Ulead tech support also.

I am running XP Pro and Direct X 8.1.
