After creating a slideshow DVD with pictures, I play it but am unable to pause it. Is there something I can do so the DVD will pause?
I want to be able to show my dad, and pause it, so he can tell stories and I can record the stories and eventually put them on the DVD.
I am using the Movie Factory 3.
Any help would be appreciated,
Colette

Unless you have checked ON "Use First Clip As Introductory Video"
that shouldn't happen.
The pictures are turned into a video. Same as playing any dvd.
You should be able to pause the dvd player.
Press "Pause" directly on the controls of the dvd player not using the
remote control. Maybe something's wrong with the remote?
Hope this helps,

Put the dvd into your computer and use a software player like
"Ulead Dvd Player" or "Power DVD" to play the disk.
See if you can pause the dvd using the computers software player.
Try pausing a regular video on the computer first so you know exactly
how to pause the dvd using that software on the computer.
When using "Power_DVD" it's the space_bar BUT the player window
must be "IN_Focus" meaning left click with the mouse in the video window
so the commands from the keyboard or mouse go to the player program.
Post back, I've never come across this before except for weak batteries
in the remote or a dirty infrared receiver in the dvd player.
Or, a universal remote programmed to the incorrect code.
