I just upgraded to ProX8 so that I can compress my web images. I don't understand why it doesn't always reduce the file size. In one case the file size got larger after optimizing. What am I doing wrong?
Thanks,
Scott

Re: Optimizer doesn't reduce file size
What kind of images PNFGs or JPEGs?
---
There are some tools to try:
- JPEGmicro + GIFmicro + PNGmicro - http://www.voralent.com/download/
I found PaintShop Pro was never good at this, sorry.

Re: Optimizer doesn't reduce file size
It is difficult for us to determine what you are doing wrong unless you tell us exactly what you are doing. First, in what format are you trying to save the file - PNG, Jpg or GIF? When saving, what steps are you taking and which dialogue box(s) do you see and which options have you chosen before finally hitting the Save button? We would need this info to be able to help.skahle wrote:I just upgraded to ProX8 so that I can compress my web images. I don't understand why it doesn't always reduce the file size.
