Restoring "save" screen to default size

Post by Bryan »

While using PSP 6 I was messing about trying to maximise the the "save as" screen. It eventually maximised such that the small screen is now displayed within a maximised screen (see attachment) with the side scroll bar still being visible. Anyone any idea how to restore this to the default? There is no minimise button on the screen.

The attachment you provided is so small it is impossible to read.

However, during X8 testing one of the users discovered the bug that the explorer window used for "Save as" could be increased in size but could not be reduced. I did the same thing as you, while testing and trying to reduce the window it ended up far too large and could not be made smaller. On top of that it affected all versions of PSP (X7, X6 etc.). I think it was X8 Service Pack 1 that fixed the problem so now, in my case, the window resizing works normally. It appears that the bug may have existed in earlier versions of PSP but was not detected. Because the bug is universal to all versions of PSP, fixing it via X8 means that now I don't have the same problem in earlier versions of PS such as X6. Sorry, I can't offer any solution for your dilemma.
