I have just upgraded from VideoStudio X7 Ultimate to X9 Ultimate (via online download).
I expected X9 to overwrite X7 but this did not happen. I now have working versions of X7 and X9 on my PC.
As I use a fairly small SSD to store the programs I would like to remove X7 to free up some valuable space on my hard-drive.
My question is, is it OK to remove X7 using Windows (7) uninstall, or will this interfere with any of the features of X9?
Additionally, I notice that Boris Graffiti is also listed as a separate program and I now have 2 versions of that as well.
In the same way, is it OK to remove the version for X7 without causing problems for the X9 version?
Hope you can advise. Thanks
Dave T

Re: VideoStudio Upgrades
Hi David
and welcome to the forums
Yes you should be able to uninstall CXSX7 without problems, your VSP project files should open ok using X9
take care of your own video files, you may be best to create a smart package of any projects you are working on.
Boris Graffiti 6 yes you should be able to uninstall the X7 version
There is also a program called MyDVD installed with X9, if you don't use that it can also be uninstalled
